Gary Murry

Senior Pastor

I have served as the Senior Pastor of Warlicks Baptist Church since 1996.

My wife, Sharon, and I have been married since 1974, and God has blessed us with two children and two grandchildren. Our daughter, Carrie, married Cameron Gilliam in 2006, and they have a son, Case. Our son, Andrew, married Laura in 2018, and they have a son, Maverick.

I grew up in a Christian home, but at the age of 28 I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior. I believe He is the Son of God who died for our sins, rose again, and lives for eternity. My greatest joy is proclaiming my faith in Him and leading others to know Him.

John Jolly

Children's Minister & Associate Pastor

I have served at Warlicks Baptist Church since 2005, becoming Family and Children’s Pastor in 2016 with a heart for discipling families and young children.

My wife, Dorothea, and I are blessed with two daughters—Alina (Jonathan Reed) and Michaila (Christian Carswell)—and two grandchildren, Lochlynn and Callum.

My ministry began in 1989 at Grace Baptist Church in Portland, Maine, and I later graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science in Theology, concentrating in Youth Ministry. It is my greatest joy to serve children, youth, and families for the glory of Christ.

Kyle Sacra

Youth Minister

I have served as the Student Pastor at Warlicks Baptist Church since 2024.

My wife, Leah, and I have three children: Caleb, Jack, and Clara. We enjoy serving together in youth ministry, helping students grow in their faith and become disciple-makers.

I grew up in a Christian home and gave my life to Christ at the age of seven during a revival service at my home church. Since then, I’ve learned to walk with the Lord and depend fully on Him. As a teenager, I began leading Bible studies and serving in church ministries alongside my father. In 1999, after much prayer and confirmation through serving, I surrendered to God’s call into youth ministry.

Tonya Harrison

Ministry Assistant –

I have served as the Ministry Assistant here at Warlicks Baptist Church since 2024.

I grew up in the George Hildebrand community and have always called Burke County home. My husband, Dusty, and I have five children: Elijah, Sarah, Gabriel, Sofia, and Ezekiel. Since 2017, we have attended New Beginnings Church in Fallston, where we serve on the praise team and in Vacation Bible School.

I am excited to serve Jesus, the pastors, the congregation, and the community of Warlick’s Baptist Church!
